1. How do I watch a capsule on TV from my phone?
Open your capsule on the phone and enter 2D Album. Tap Watch on TV. Open /cast/receiver on the TV. The TV will show a QR and TV CODE. On the phone, tap Scan TV QR or enter the TV CODE manually. After connection, the TV opens the current album.
- Scan from the Watch on TV popup inside 2D Album, not from the normal phone camera.
- If camera or QR scanning is not supported, use manual TV CODE entry.
- TV CODE is short-lived and refreshes for security.
2. How do I open the TV Receiver on a television?
Open a browser on the TV and go to arkofmoments.com/cast/receiver. If the TV has no browser, open the receiver on a device connected to the TV, such as a mini PC, laptop, tablet or browser-capable TV box.
- The receiver screen shows QR and YOUR TV CODE.
- Enter or scan this code from the phone inside 2D Album.
- The QR itself is not a public album link and does not open someone else’s capsule.
3. How do I preview the TV Receiver on a computer?
For preview, open /cast/receiver in another window or incognito tab, and open the capsule plus 2D Album in another window. Then use Watch on TV and enter the TV CODE from the receiver screen.
- Computer preview is for testing only.
- On a real TV, the logic is the same: receiver waits, phone connects the album.
- Fullscreen mode hides extra panels and keeps the content on screen.
4. Why does normal QR scanning not open the album?
The QR on the TV is a pairing bridge. If opened with the normal phone camera, the site shows a login/account helper and explains that you need to open a capsule on the phone, go to 2D Album, and connect the TV from there.
- This is intentional so the QR is not a public link to a private capsule.
- Capsule access is granted only after checking the user, package and room access.
