1. Information you provide
We may process account and profile information such as login, email, name, language, phone, birth year/date, profile settings, package/access type, invite/promo information and notification preferences if you provide them.
2. Content and media
We process photos, videos, thumbnails, welcome media, room titles, descriptions, albums, social links, Google Drive links/import metadata and other materials that you upload, import or save in a capsule.
3. Technical data
The service may process technical data required for security and operation: login and language cookies, room access cookies, local storage preferences, IP/browser data in server logs, errors, security events and usage signals.
4. Why we use it
Data is used for login, creating and viewing capsules, media storage, Google Drive import, showing public/shared/private rooms, user support, abuse prevention, error recovery, invite/access administration and product improvement.
5. Sharing and visibility
When you make a room public or share a link, people with access can view the materials in that capsule. Do not upload or share materials unless you have the rights and consent of the people shown or mentioned in them.
6. Third parties
We do not sell personal data to advertisers. Data may be processed by hosting providers, technical service providers, external platforms that you choose to connect or open through an embed/link, and authorities when legally required.
7. Retention and deletion
Materials are kept while the account/capsule is active or while needed for technical operation, security, recovery and obligations. Deleting, archiving and permanently deleting a room may have different technical effects. Users should keep original copies outside Ark of Moments.
8. Your requests
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data where applicable and technically possible. We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Children and family content
Capsules often contain family materials and photos of children. Upload this content only if you have the right and consent to use it and show it to the audience you choose.
10. Policy changes
This policy may be updated when the product, hosting, import/embedding flows or legal requirements change.
